    Building a close professional relationship with our customers is one of our founding principles, one that has challenged us to constantly push our standards of service to a higher level . Our corporate culture is defined by this mentality of continual improvement and evolution, which not only led mark'ennovy to become a strong regional player in contact lenses in its first ten years, but also to have established its operations in both France and the UK in the same time period. Since our beginnings, we have kept our sites on international growth opportunities, which would eventually lead to direct presence in six European markets with a distribution network reaching more than 37 countries globally.

    We strive to understand our customers' needs and deliver a complete package of contact lenses, fitting support and service to help them achieve a more personalised level of care for their patients. The acquisition of our micro-precision moulding operation in the UK was an investment in a more personalised approach to off-theshelf contact lenses. Combined with the acquisition of Vista Optics, the epicentre of our materials innovation, these have been two ventures whose fruits continue to complement our ever-growing portfolio of individually crafted contact lenses.

    Investment in R&D has been central to our growth strategy from the very beginning, but never so much as with the acquisition of Vista Optics, leading up to the launch of Saphir Rx, our monthly silicone hydrogel contact lens in 2011. The success of Saphir Rx allowed us to invest more heavily new contact lens materials, lens designs, and manufacturing techniques, allowing us to provide even better products to a more extensive, and geographically diverse, list of customers. It paved the way for the launch of Gentle 80 and Gentle 59, our range of individually crafted biomimetic hydrogel lenses, which culminated in Gentle 80 winning 2015's Optician Award for the Contact Lens of the Year, an honour usually bestowed upon daily lenses from large consumer brands

At the same time, we have continued to strengthen our tradition of innovative materials with the launch of Blu:gen, the first ever contact lens with a Class 1 UV Filter and Selective Blue Light Blocking.

    We have also been working closely with leading contact lens practitioners and opinion leaders to build awareness for the clinical and commercial benefits of fitting with more precision, and investing heavily in our professional teams to make individually crafted lenses a true asset to our customers' toolset and practice.
